Aimee Falchuk

MPH, M.Ed., ACCEP, M.Div

Faculty Member

Aimee is a master’s-level clinician, Advanced Core Energetics Practitioner, and faculty member of the Institute of Core Energetics. She works with individuals and couples in private practice and is a dedicated student and teacher of the Pathwork lectures, the spiritual foundation of Core Energetics. Aimee holds master’s degrees in Public Health and Education and is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity.

Anita Mandley

MS, LCPC

Faculty Member

Anita is an Institute Faculty member who facilitates the BIPOC Affinity Group on training weekends and teaches Cultural and Historical Trauma. With over 30 years of experience in the mental health field, she specializes in complex developmental trauma, Complex PTSD, dissociative disorders, and intergenerational and cultural trauma. 

Anna Smith

Faculty Member

Anna brings a deep loving heart and commitment to the sacred work of self-transformation.  She is an Advanced Certified Core Energetics Practitioner and Intuitive Energy Healer.  Anna, is certified in Exceptional Relationship Mentoring, IET, and Essentials of Trauma Treatment, as well as Family Constellations. She supports individuals and couples in private practice, and leads groups.

Barra Kahn

MA, ACCEP

Faculty Member

Barra is Director of Next Generation Core in Washington, D.C. and senior faculty at the Institute of Core Energetics. She maintains a private practice and brings over four decades of experience in yoga, somatics, and embodied healing work. She holds advanced Core Energetics certification and a Master’s degree in Psychology.

Ben Wild

Associate Faculty Member

Ben is an Advanced Core Energetics Practitioner, Internal Family Systems–informed practitioner, artist and educator. His work focuses on creating spaces for healing, embodiment, and transformation with those who are often marginalized by society, including through prison-based programs at Sing Sing and Otisville, his private practice in NYC, and retreats at Shalom Mountain Retreat Center. He holds a Master of Education from Harvard University.

Brian Cameron

Faculty Member

Brian is an Advanced Certified Core Energetics practitioner and faculty member based in Nyack NY. He maintains a private practice and has taught with the Corevolution and Art of Intimacy programs in NYC. Drawing on more than 20 years of leadership and coaching experience, Brian is dedicated to group process work and helping men discover strength through vulnerability.

Brian Gleason

Brian Gleason, MSW, CCEP is co-founder and director of Embodied Relationship Mentoring. A senior faculty member at the Institute of Core Energetics New York, he brings over 40 years of experience as a social worker, somatic practitioner, educator, and international teacher. He is the author of Mortal Spirit and Relative to Everything.

Charles Corley

MEd, LMHC, CCEP

Faculty Member

Charlie is a licensed mental health counselor, certified Core Energetics practitioner, and Co-Director of the Core Energetics Academy. With more than 30 years of experience, he integrates Core Energetics, body-centered psychotherapy, and humanistic approaches. A senior faculty member and international trainer, he teaches worldwide and is known for his warmth, presence, and practical approach to transformation.

Clare Carr

Clare is an Advanced Core Energetics Practitioner, Embodied Relationship Mentor, Imago Facilitator & Workshop Presenter, Reiki Practitioner, Family Constellation Facilitator, and Helix Healing Works Minister in New York City. A faculty member and student supervisor at the New York Institute of Core Energetics, she works with individuals, couples, and groups, supporting personal growth, self-acceptance, embodied relationships, and transformational healing.

David deBardelaben-Phillips

Faculty Member

David is Founder and President of Energetic Awakenings in Cleveland, OH, and a leader in mind-body-spirit healing. He works with individuals, couples, and groups to identify and transform root causes that block authentic expression and fulfillment. “Helping You to Live Life Fully.” David serves as a senior faculty member at the Institute of Core Energetics – NY and is a faculty associate for the Imago International Training Institute.  He holds multiple certifications and training including Advanced Certified Core Energetics Practitioner, Certified Imago Relationship Facilitator and Supervisor, Master of Education (focus on Adult Learning), Bachelor of Business Management, Reiki Master and Transcendental Hypnotherapy.

Jeremy Fulwiler

LMSW-C, ACCEP, CTS

Faculty Member

Jeremy is a Fully Licensed Master of Clinical Social Work (LMSW-Clinical) in Michigan and an Advanced Certified Core Energetics Practitioner (ACCEP). He is also a Certified Trauma Specialist, Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher with 30 years of practice, Certified Personal Trainer, Reiki Master Teacher, and Certified Dance Meditation Teacher.

He serves as Senior Faculty at the Institute of Core Energetics and holds a Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University, with extensive clinical experience in trauma, child welfare, and LGBTQ+ residential care.

Jim Johnston

ACCEP

Faculty Member

Jim first encountered Core Energetics as a client, experiencing profound healing that inspired him to become a practitioner and teacher at institutes in the United States and abroad. He went on to serve for several years as Academic Director at the New York Institute of Core Energetics.

With nearly 20 years in the field, he continues to be inspired by his own ongoing evolution, as well as the healing and growth experienced by his clients and students. He regards Core Energetics as a powerful pathway toward living from one’s healed, authentic self-expression.

Dr. J Sema Bruno

MFT-A, PhD, ACCEP

Faculty Member

Sema holds a Ph.D., an M.A. Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy, and advanced certification in Core Energetics (A-CCEP). Drawing on decades of experience with couples, families, trauma survivors, new parents, and at-risk youth, she integrates Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Satirian, and other experiential approaches to foster lasting growth, resilience, and meaningful change.

Karyne B. Wilner

MA, MA, PsyD.

Faculty Member

Karyne served as Assistant Director of the Institute for Core Energetics from 1995 to 2011, and as Past Director of Core Energetics in Brazil and Australia. Formerly an adjunct professor at Salve Regina University, she is Director of The Core Energetics Academy and has private practices in RI and CT.  Her journal articles focus on Core Energetics as a body therapy and a path to authenticity and meaningful life change.

Kate Holt

RN, ACCEP

Faculty Member

Kate Holt has been in private practice since 2003 and teaching since 2004. She served as Executive Director of the Institute of Core Energetics from 2016 to 2022 and is a longtime faculty member at Córpore and ICOREEM in Mexico. Passionate about developing the next generation of practitioners, Kate helps students discover and cultivate their unique gifts while deepening their capacity to lead and facilitate transformational work.

Ken Goldberg

Ken has taught at Medical schools, Naturopathic, and Chiropractic schools, and at almost all of the Core Energetics institutes.  He is passionate about supporting the development and excellence of Core Energitics.  He is excited to be publishing a new text on Core Energetics.

Kuno Bachbauer

LMFT, Dr.med. (Austria)

Kuno has devoted his professional life to the exploration of personal development, integrative mind-body healing, and the intersection of neuroscience, emotional well-being, and spiritual growth. His teaching focuses on how to effectively integrate Core Energetics practice with modern bio-sciences, trauma research, and psychosomatics.

Lisa Loustaunau

Faculty Member

Lisa Loustaunau ACCEP, MFA, OSC, has practiced Core Energetics for 30 years. She served as the Academic Director at the Institute of Core Energetics (NY) from 2011 to 2019 and is an international teacher, workshop leader, process facilitator, and Core Energetics supervisor. She has trained practitioners and offered workshops in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Israel, the Netherlands, and Mexico, and USA.

Marcia Gleason

MSW, CCEP

Faculty Member

Marcia is a faculty member of the Institute of Core Energetics, co-founder of Embodied Relationships, and a seasoned psychotherapist with over 45 years of experience. Her work integrates Core Energetics, Polyvagal Theory, and Internal Family Systems, helping individuals and couples cultivate deeper embodiment, authentic connection, and lasting transformation.

Melissa Kaplan

MPA, ACCEP

Faculty Member

Melissa is a somatic practitioner, spiritual activist, and faculty member of the Institute of Core Energetics. She works with body-held trauma to expand capacity for pleasure, self-intimacy, and emotional leadership, weaving body, spirit, emotion, and land. Melissa is a former international CEO and Harvard Business School alumna.

Pablo Cortés

Juan Pablo Cortés is a Core Energetics educator and practitioner with over 20 years of experience supporting personal and organizational transformation. He holds postgraduate degrees in Core Energetics and Integrative Body Psychotherapy, serves on faculty across three international institutes, and developed the Biosensitization Model.

Sanjay Kevin Evran

ACCEP, CPRA

Faculty Member

Sanjay is a Radical Aliveness, Bioenergetics, and Core Energetics practitioner in private practice, working with individuals and groups for over a decade. He serves on the Faculty and is a member of the Ethics Committee at the Institute of Core Energetics in New York.  He also teaches internationally as Junior Faculty at the Netherlands Institute of Core Energetics. He brings a wide systemic perspective to his down to earth approach in working with individuals and groups from varied backgrounds.

Ted Riskin

LCSW

Faculty Member

Ted served as full-time faculty with the Institute of Core Energetics from approximately 2004 through 2012 and continues in a part-time faculty role to the present. He believes Core Energetics is a great complement to other, more intellectual and therapeutic modalities, and integrates it within a broader experiential approach to healing. His work also includes Holotropic Breathwork (Grof Certified), Integral Breath Therapy, EMDR, and Hypnotherapy, offering a comprehensive framework for transformation.

Zein K. Chahine

Faculty Member

Zein is an Advanced Core Energetics Practitioner, Romana’s Pilates Teacher Trainer Level III, and holds advanced certifications from the Centre for Spatial Medicine, Anatomy Trains in Motion and Body Reading. She specializes in assessing dynamic posture and resolving deep-seated physical and emotional holding patterns. She empowers people to master body mechanics, release structural tension, and achieve a profound, lasting sense of integration and aliveness.
