Marna Chester is an artist and maker. Born and based in Brooklyn, NY. She has created paper installations for weddings and special events, art galleries, commercial and private clients. Her work has been exhibited at Wave Hill, Gitler & Gallery, Governors Island, The Wild Bird Fund Gallery,  the Rye Arts Center (RAC), and the Voelker Orth Museum (VOM), among others. Commercial work includes the television series, Gotham, The Italian Cultural Institute, Bergdorf Goodman’s window displays, and more. She has taught paper sculpture workshops for kids and adults at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, NY Botanical Garden, Yeshiva University Museum, RAC, The Creative Center, VOM, The Brooklyn Brainery, Camp Eisner, UNIS (The United Nations International School), and Au Papier Japonais in Montreal. Marna holds a BFA from Alfred University and an MPS from Pratt Institute.
